2017 Rothko Chapel Óscar Romero Award Ceremony

The biennial Rothko Chapel Óscar Romero Award (ORA) is given in recognition of courageous, grassroots human rights advocacy. Named after Archbishop Óscar Romero of San Salvador, the 2017 Award will be particularly meaningful as it falls on the centennial of Archbishop Romero’s birth. This year the Chapel recognizes two individuals leading efforts in undoing and addressing the impact of mass incarceration. To learn more, click here.
