March 19, 2025 at the Astorian
We invite you to consider joining us as an underwriter for Inspirit: Rothko Chapel’s Annual Evening of Inspiration. Your support is vital in advancing the Chapel’s transformative programming, fostering meaningful dialogue, and strengthening its role as a beacon for art, spirituality, and human rights.
This year’s event features a compelling conversation with renowned artist and activist Shepard Fairey, multidisciplinary artist Trenton Doyle Hancock, and is moderated by art scholar Dr. Alvia Wardlaw. Together, they will explore the powerful relationship between art and activism to address pressing human rights and social justice issues. Inspirit offers an evening of profound inspiration and thought-provoking dialogue.
Inspirit also raises critical funds in support of the Chapel’s mission while amplifying its legacy as a sacred space for connection and community engagement. The event will take place on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at The Astorian in Houston and will feature an online art auction of museum-quality works presented by McClain Gallery.
Your role as an underwriter is essential to the success of Inspirit and will inspire others to contribute. Benefits include prominent recognition on the Chapel’s website and event materials, highlighting your commitment to sustaining the Rothko Chapel as a space for transformative experiences and dialogue.
On behalf of the Rothko Chapel community, thank you for considering this opportunity to support Inspirit. Your generosity ensures the Chapel remains open and accessible every day of the year, free of charge, while continuing to serve as a platform for connection, dialogue, and action.
