Arriving in 2025, Rothko Chapel's new Administrative Offices will allow the Chapel to run more efficiently and professionally, with room for additional staff as our campus and program grow. New conference facilities will foster enriched meetings and will be available to other community organizations.
This new facility will provide greatly enhanced public access for artists, scholars, and activists to our rich archival collection documenting the Chapel’s history while housing all materials in state-of-the-art storage.
Underwritten by Michael Piana, the board room will feature integrated audio/visual systems. This “smart” conference room will be used for Rothko Chapel meetings and available for use to other organizations and collectives in the community.
Street parking is free and available on Yupon, Branard, and Sul Ross streets around the Chapel. Please pay attention to all parking regulation signs.
Rothko Chapel visitors are also welcome to use the Menil Collection parking lot located at the intersection of Mulberry and West Alabama streets.
The Moran Parking Garage at the intersection of Graustark and West Alabama streets on the campus of the University of St. Thomas is also available for parking for $10 per car.
