A Community Vigil for Remembrance and Grief
Co-Sponsored by Institute for Spirituality and Health at the Texas Medical Center
In the wake of devastating floods that have deeply impacted our Texas communities, we gathered in shared grief and collective strength. This evening vigil offered a sacred space to honor the lives lost, uplift survivors and first responders, and kindle a spirit of resilience through remembrance, reflection, and song.
The program included personal reflections, interfaith prayers, live music, and a community-based ceremony or remembrance. Support volunteers were available to talk or pray.
