Join us for a day centering creativity, authenticity, self-love, and community! Co-curated with local community organizers Ethan Michelle Ganz & Jevon Martin, the Revolution of Joy Festival features poetry, music, fashion, and visual artwork by artists of trans experience, in celebration of joy and self-expression as a resistance strategy for queer communities. The afternoon includes performances inside the Chapel sanctuary and tabling outside on the Plaza with artists and members from trans-led organizations.
1pm - Festival tables open on Plaza & seating begins inside Sanctuary
1:30pm - Poetry, Music Performances & Fashion Contest inside Sanctuary
3pm - Program concludes, tabling continues until 4pm
The festival includes a limited open mic sign-up for LGBTQ+ poets (starting at 1pm) and an open LGBTQ+ fashion contest, including categories for Best Design, Wore it Best, and Best Drag on the theme of "Revolution of Joy."
Community safety will be provided by Q Patrol.
