The Politicization of Faith in Texas Government

The Politicization of Faith in Texas Government
Hosted in partnership with Texas Interfaith Legislators Caucus

In light of ongoing attacks against non-Christian Texans across the state by elected officials, the Rothko Chapel and Texas Interfaith Caucus convened a discussion with Texas House members and faith leaders to address how to strengthen interfaith dialogue and relationships to better the lives of all Texans. Panelists explored the rise of Anti-Muslim and Anti-Jewish hate, promotion of multi-faith religious literacy leading to a healthier democracy, and what pathways might look like for community solidarity.
