3rd Annual Interfaith Time of Remembrance: Contemplating Cycles of Life & Death

Community members contemplated cycles of life and death across faith traditions and cultures through music, poetry, and personal reflections in observance of Dia de los Muertos and All Saint’s Day. Attendees were invited to bring a small memento, photo, or item to place on a community altar in remembrance of those who had passed on.

Speakers included Minister Raymond Stubblefield, Covenant Church; Dr. Hansa Medley, ISKCON; Kai Dotiwala, Zoroastrian Association of Houston; Rabbi Barry Cohen, Alexander Jewish Family Service; members of Myoken-ji Temple; and Imam Dr. Basem Hamid, Islamic Society of Greater Houston.
