12th Annual Silent Nights Meditation: Tools for Coping During the Holidays
Co-Presented by Institute for Spirituality and Health & Rothko Chapel
Pay What You Can $0-25 | General admission bench seating
For many, the winter holidays were a time to come together in joy and celebration, yet they also brought heightened stress, grief, and expectations of self and others. Co-presented by the Institute for Spirituality and Health and the Rothko Chapel, this annual event offered space to engage in mindfulness practices from diverse cultural traditions, supporting mental, physical, and spiritual well-being during this reflective season. Participants gathered to experience spiritual refreshment, grounding, and practical tools for navigating the winter season while honoring the sacred possibilities of the holidays and the year ahead.
Contemplative music was provided by Rev. Steve Thorney. Meditations were led by Lex Gillan, Cantor Rollin Simmons, and Joseph Ayaz. A singing bowls sound bath was offered by Gena Davis.
