On March 4, Rothko Chapel hosted a meaningful evening of dialogue as part of EXODUS Over Dinner, bringing together influential voices committed to strengthening understanding across communities. In conversation were Van Jones and Shari Redstone, joined by Abdullah Antepli and civic leader Ellen Susman for an intimate dinner focused on building deeper connections between Black, Jewish, and Black Jewish communities. Together, participants explored powerful questions: How can our communities strengthen bonds, heal divisions, and build resilient solidarity for a time such as this? Through honest conversation, reflection, and the sharing of culture around the dinner table, the evening became the beginning of an ongoing dialogue rooted in empathy, justice, and collective responsibility. Events like these reflect the Rothko Chapel’s enduring mission: bringing people together across difference to pursue human rights, understanding, and shared humanity.
