This Saturday, April 20th, Rothko Chapel will operate on adjusted hours. The Chapel is open from 11am-12:15pm for our Earth Day program all are welcome. From 12:15pm-1:15pm, the Chapel will close for breakdown of the program. The Chapel will reopen for general visitation from 1:15pm-6pm.

M. NourbeSe Philip is a writer known for experimentation with literary form and for her commitment to social justice. Rick Lowe is an artist, Founder of Project Row Houses, and MacArthur Award recipient. Mel Chin is a conceptual visual artist motivated largely by political, cultural, and social circumstances. Moderator Carrie Schneider is a Houston-based artist and Co-Founder of Charge.

There will be food from Cuchara and SweetCup, music, a bookstore, and artistic experiences on the grounds.
