GENDER PARITY IS THE FOCUS FOR 2019 INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY ON MARCH 8
Rothko Chapel and Houston Area Women’s Center present panel on gender equality in Houston
(Houston, Texas) International Women’s Day celebrates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women across the globe. This year the day marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. To deepen the conversation, Rothko Chapel and the Houston Area Women’s Center (HAWC) have partnered to assemble a panel of researchers for a discussion on “The Gender Parity Divide and Its Impact on Women in Houston.” The program will be held at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, March 8, at the Houston Area Women’s Center Counseling and Education Campus, 1010 Waugh Drive, Room 202, Houston 77019.
